Streszczenie projektu:

"The aim of this research task was to determine the influence of basic air parameters of (temperature, relative humidity, air velocity) on the concentration and size distribution of fine particles suspended in the air of work rooms. The task also consisted in determining the main dangerous chemical substances in the fine particles emitted in selected processes. The tests conducted within this task consisted in determining the influence of- the source of heat and ventilation on air parameters, and the concentration and size distribution of fine particles in office air,- the source of heat and air flow on air parameters, and the concentration and size distribution of fine particles in the air of a chamber with laminar air flow,- relative humidity of air, temperature and the source of heat, and initial parameters of particles on the concentration and size distribution of fine and very fine particles in the air in a ventilation duct, - the kind of people's activity (the presence of a greater number of people in a room and smoking cigarettes) on the concentration and composition of fine particles in a laboratory and in an office,- the kind of the source of emission of fine particles (welding, oil combustion in Diesel engines, manufacturing of products with nanoparticles) on the concentration and composition of fine particles in the air in service and manufacturing areas.A guide has been developed; it covers the principles of monitoring air quality in work rooms and selecting collective protective equipment whose use makes it possible to comply with the requirements regarding the required degree of cleanliness of air in work rooms as far as the concentration of fine particles emitted or suspended in workplace air is concerned.
