Abstract

Disseminating the problems of occupational safety and health protection among employees and employers during trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and training seminars

Project summary:

The projects that were carried out as part of this task consisted in disseminating the problems of occupational safety and health protection. They helped increase interest in the idea of safe behaviours among employers and employees, advance knowledge and increase awareness in employees. The following actions were carried out within this task: - dissemination of the problems of occupational safety and ergonomics during two editions of SAWO trade fairs and three editions of Research for Industry as part of the ITM Polska trade fair, and 4 branch trade fairs that took place abroad - representatives of the Institute took part in two exhibitions and two invention fairs - 5 conferences and 8 training seminars were organized, they focused on occupational risk assessment, occupational safety in agriculture, using machinery and equipment, safe storage of chemicals - representatives of the Institute took part in or co-organized three outdoor picnic-like events (Educational Picnic - Iława, Science Picnic of the Polish Radio, and the Copernicus Science Centre - Warsaw) - information and promotion over the Internet took place - materials for the audience of the above-mentioned events were developed and published.
