The series of scientific monographs entitled
„Occupational Safety, Health, and Ergonomics: Theory and Practice”

In the summer of 2020, the first volumes of an English-language series of scientific monographs dedicated to the broadly defined issues of safety and health at work were published by CRC Press / Taylor & Francis. The series "Occupational Safety, Health, and Ergonomics: Theory and Practice" was prepared by a team of authors from the Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute (CIOP-PIB) in cooperation with scientists from other leading Polish and foreign research institutions.

The series includes 14 monographs, in which the readers will find an overview of the latest knowledge and proposals for practical solutions in areas such as: health problems and emotional load of employees in selected occupations, chemical hazards, biological hazards, noise in the workplace, appropriate lighting selection, head, eye and face protection, respiratory protection, use of virtual reality for occupational health and safety, OSH management.

Two more volumes are under preparation:

  • Active Noise Control: Systems, Solutions and Applications
  • Electromagnetic Ergonomics: From Electrification to a Wireless Society

Individual volumes of the series can be purchased both in paper version and as an e-book directly on the publisher's website.
