HEALTHY WORKPLACES MANAGE DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES 2018-2019

HEALTHY WORKPLACES MANAGE DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES

In 2018-2019 Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute coordinated the European campaign Healthy Workplaces Manage Dangerous Substances in Poland (at the national level). The campaign was organised by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) as part of the Healthy Workplaces Campaigns.

It had five key objectives:

  1. To raise awareness of the importance of preventing risks from dangerous substances
  2. To promote risk assessment by providing information on practical tools and creating opportunities to share good practices
  3. To heighten awareness of risks linked to exposures to carcinogens at work
  4. To target groups of workers  with specific needs and higher levels of risks
  5. To increase knowledge of the legislative framework that is already in place to protect workers, as well as highlighting policy developments.
