Misją Instytutu jest dzialalność naukowo-badawcza prowadząca do nowych rozwiązań technicznych i organizacyjnych użytecznych w kształtowaniu warunków pracy zgodnych z zasadami bezpieczeństwa pracy i ergonomii oraz ustalanie podstaw naukowych do właściwego ukierunkowywania polityki społeczno-ekonomicznej państwa w tym zakresie.
Publishing Activities of the Institute
The Institute’s publishing activities serve to disseminate the results of scientific research and implementation work conducted in the broadly defined fields of safety, human health protection and ergonomics in the work environment. In addition to disseminating CIOP-PIB’s research achievements, the Institute’s publications play an important role in promoting knowledge of occupational safety and health and ergonomics, as well as in raising public awareness of occupational hazards and of the need for and methods of effective prevention.
CIOP-PIB’s current publishing offer includes peer-reviewed scientific monographs, guides, brochures, textbooks, series of extensive thematic publications, and other studies in the above-mentioned fields, as well as directives and checklists.
