Abstract

Establishment of occupational exposure limit values for chemical agents during selected high-risk processes

Project manager: Jolanta Skowroń Ph.D.

Project summary:

In 2002-2004, as a result of this research task, values of admissible concentrations of 12 new chemical substances were determined and documented. Also determined and documented were a range of introductory and periodic tests, the frequency of periodic tests and medical contraindications for employment. Documentations with suggestions for Maximum Admissible Concentrations were discussed at the meetings of the Expert Group for Chemical Agents of the Interdepartmental Commission for Maximum Admissible Concentrations and Intensities. Following the discussions, values of Maximum Admissible Concentrations in the working environment were suggested for 12 substances.
