The content-related materials presented on the following pages cover synthetically the most important issues related to unfavorable microclimate conditions in the working environment, in particular: effects of the adverse microclimate impact on the human body, hazards related to the microclimate of the work environment, legal requirements relating to the microclimate, the parameters characterizing the microclimate in the work environment and the principles of occupational risk assessment in cold and hot microclimate, as well as the most important principles of prophylaxis.

Due to the complexity of the presented topics, as well as possible serious health or material consequences of incorrectly identified noise hazards and improper selection and use of preventive measures to the needs arising from such hazards in a specific workplace, reading the materials presented on the site cannot be considered as an alternative to specialist assessment of exposure characteristics (required by labor law) or for specialist training on hazards related to microclimate and the principles of safe work in unfavorable microclimate conditions.
