Metrological supervising of measuring equipment used to laboratory surveys in the process of products compliance assessment and work conditions

Project summary:

The study was realised in compliance with the Polish standard PN-EN ISO/EC 17025 "General requirements for competencies of research and calibrating laboratories" that is the base of management systems of the CIOP-PIB research and calibrating laboratories.
The study purposes were realised as follows:
- metrological supervising of measuring and research equipment of research and calibrating laboratories of the Institute through their periodic calibrating or inspection;
- update of procedures/instructions on calibration and inspection of measuring and research equipment;
- update of documentation of measuring and research equipment due to management system of the Institute.
The study result is the confirmation that the Institute`s laboratory equipment used for the process of products compliance assessment and work conditions meets requirements of their technical documentation and accepted research methods. The effects achieved assured that all research results are compatible with the patterns of state in accordance with measurement system of the state.
