Abstract

The development of the principles of diagnosing occupational safety and health management systems on the basis of information resulting from an analysis of accidents at work

Project summary:

An occupational safety and health management system for SMEs was developed. It contains the basic elements of occupational safety and health management, taking into consideration the requirements of legal regulation and of standards in the PN-N-18000 series. A draft of guidelines for implementing an occupational safety and health management system in those enterprises was also developed, as was a proposal for the principles of diagnosing an occupational safety and health management system.A guide with appendices, which list the requirements for every element of the system, was developed. They also contain descriptions and they answer questions as to why the implementation of a given element is necessary and what kind of steps have to be taken to implement it in a SME.
