Estimating possibilities to employ people with disabilities in the occupations included in "Occupational Outlook Handbook".

Project summary:

The task selected 100 professions based on the criterion of usefulness for as many types of disabilities. Then "Questionnaire to assess the possibility to pursue the profession by a disabled person", which was used to create a database on selected occupations. Based on the database an initial version of the" Occupational Outlook Handbook" was designed and further on verified during two seminars held in Dzierżanów and Warsaw with the participation of disabled people, employers, counselors, and occupational physicians.
As an outcome of the discussion it was decided to change seven occupations included in the database for such with high levels of demand in the labor market. Ultimately final version of the "Guidance Occupational Outlook Handbook for disabled" contains 100 characteristics of professions.
