Abstract

Development of a methodology for calibrating and validating the stand for testing optoelectronic protective equipment

Project manager: Tomasz Strawiński M.Sc. (Eng.)

Project summary:

The aim of the task was to develop a methodology, tools and procedures for that would make it possible to calibrate the stand on one's own and that would make it possible to maintain the required measurement traceability. The following were developed and carried out within the framework of the task: - a methodology for calibrating the stand for testing optoelectronic protective equipment,- tools for carrying out the developed methodology,- a measurement procedure PWS/NB2-01 for calibrating/checking the stand for testing optoelectronic protective equipment,- a calculation formula for estimating the measurement uncertainty of results,- an instruction for ascertaining the calibration and measurement uncertainty of response time for the stand for measuring response time of optoelectric protective equipment,- calibration of the stand and estimation of the calibration uncertainty in accordance with the developed measurement procedure and instruction for ascertaining uncertainty,- validation of the stand for measuring response time of optoelectric protective equipment according to the selected testing procedure and measurements uncertainty assessment.
