Abstract

Preparation of training and information materials regarding requirements resulting from the amendment of the Council Directive 89/686/EEC. Organisation of trainings and seminars for producers and distributors of personal protective equipment and for market control bodies.

Project summary:

In relation to the need to adapt domestic legislation regarding personal protective equipment to requirements of the amended Council Directive 89/686/EEC, there were took up works aimed to prepare domestic producers, distributors and market control bodies to implement new provisions.
The following documents have been prepared within the frame of this study:
- Report to the Minister of Economy analysing changes of Council Directive 89/686/EEC and their influence on economic activity of the Polish producers and distributors of personal protective equipment;
- Information materials (in the form of booklet) addressed to producers and distributors of personal protective equipment, including information regarding changes resulted from the amendment of the Council Directive 89/686/EEC; the booklet was edited in 500 copies and was also published on the CIOP-PIB website; the booklet was disseminated during seminars for producers and distributors of personal protective equipment as well as during four conferences on safety and health at work;
- Training materials regarding a/m subject was directed to producers and representatives of the market control bodies.
