Abstract

Development of standards in the form of filtration elements and a method of checking stands for testing the efficiency of filtration materials

Project manager: Krzysztof Makowski M.Sc.

Project summary:

"The task resulted in the development of a construction standard in the form of a filtration element and in the verification of its parameters. The following procedure was also developed: ""Assessment of the repeatability of the readings of measuring equipment for determining the penetration of sodium chloride particles and paraffin oil mist for filtration equipment used for respiratory protection"". Interlaboratory tests confirmed the usefulness of the developed filtration standards. They made it possible to identify the differences in the results obtained in individual laboratories, which was reflected in the results of a statistical analysis conducted in accordance with the requirement of the PN-ISO 5725-2:2002 and PN-P/04600:1991 standards. Performance statistics was conducted according to the ISO/IEC 43:1997 guide, annex A, on the basis of the values of the Z score obtained as a result of tests."
