Since the beginnings of the Institute, the Planning Division has always been dealing with coordinating and organising research work, preparing multi-annual research programmes with other science institutions in Poland, drawing up yearly plans and analysing their execution, as well as preparing reports.
The development of the Institute’s activity in several directions results in broadening the scope of tasks of the Planning Division, including cooperation with science institutions, state administration, enterprises and other institutions popularising technical and organisational solutions originated at the Institute. Over the last decade, the Institute’s staff has become more involved in the execution of European and international programmes and projects. This brings about a more extensive cooperation with coordinators and partners from abroad, during the preparation and execution stages of the projects. The partners include, e.g. Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH), Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), University of Aberdeen (UNIABDN), University of Nottingham (IWHO).
The Planning Division Since 1985 has been manager by Ms Bożena Chodelska.
