This article describes normative requirements related to anti-electrostatic protective clothing as well as related legal acts. It discusses the problems of explosion endangered areas and explosive atmosphere and the technical requirements for anti-electrostatic protective clothing. Frequently asked questions related to the requirements for this kind of clothing in light of CE evaluation are answered.

CLP regulation - harmonized classification, labelling and packaging of chemicals

This article presents assumptions related to the CLP regulation, differences between the new system and former regulations based on 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/CE directives of the European Parliament and Council. Management of knowledge resources is supported with thematic vocabularies, glossaries, thesauruses and taxonomy designed by ILO. Specialists in scientific information use these specialized terminology resources for indexing documents on websites and in databases, whereas users for searching for information.

This article introduces the Internet portal on OSH managed by CIOP-PIB – the main source of knowledge on OSH in Poland. Users can receive support in terms of applications offering direct assistance in actions related to occupational safety and health, such as risk assessment, PPE selection, creation of post-accident documentation or methodology of running training courses. The portal is constantly updated and adjusted both in terms of its contents and its technology.
