Project summary:

"Part A of the task ""An analysis of the legal regulations on transportation of dangerous materials published in Poland in 2003"" consisted in supplementing the lists of Polish legal regulations published in the 2002 and 2003 reports.Part B of the task ""Information on transportation of dangerous materials in agglomerations other than Warsaw. The principles for a system for reducing the effect of major accidents in transportation of dangerous materials through urban areas"" discusses information on the results on a survey addressed to enterprises that use or transport dangerous materials and waste in Gdańsk and Poznań.The principles of a prevention system related to major accidents during transportation of dangerous materials are addressed to local governments that are legally responsible for citizens' safety."
