Abstract

Development of a methodology and procedures for testing the parameters of the electric equipment of hand-held and transportable motor-operated electric tools

Project manager: Tomasz Strawiński M.Sc. (Eng.)

Project summary:

The aim of the task was to create technical and organizational conditions for tests of hand-held and transportable motor-operated electric tools regarding their electric equipment. Two sets of 6 drafts of testing procedures each were developed. They are meant for testing the parameters of the electric equipment of hand-held and transportable motor-operated electric tools. The requirements listed in the PN-EN 60745-1:2006 standard and its second parts were the bases for developing the drafts of testing procedures for hand-held motor-operated electric tools. Those procedures were denoted as NBT-1 to NBT-6.The requirements listed in the PN-EN 61029-1:2000 standard and its second parts were the bases for developing the drafts of testing procedures for transportable motor-operated electric tools. Those procedures were denoted as NBP-1 to NBP-6.The developed drafts of procedures were verified in tests of the parameters that were carried out for the electric equipment of a hand-held drill and a transportable circular saw bench. The tests confirmed that the procedures were corrected and could be used to carry out the research aims.
