Development of information materials on good practices to reduce occupational risk at workstations in agriculture

Project summary:

"Co-operation was established with the Office of Prevention, Rehabilitation and Certification of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund with the development and future distribution of information materials in mind. As a result of this co-operation drafts of 8 brochures were developed; they contain selected information on good practices in OSH: * in cattle raising,* in breeding pigs,* in breeding horses,* in breeding poultry,* in cultivating and fertilizing soil,* in sowing, farming and harvesting,* in planting, farming and harvesting root crops, * in nursing and protecting plants.Two draft guides were also prepared on: * good practices in OSH in farming,* good practices in OSH in breeding farm animals,and drafts of 2 OSH checklists: * for farming,* for animal husbandry.Drafts of information materials on good practices in agriculture, extensively illustrated with drawings and photographs, were prepared in print and forwarded to be made available on CIOP-PIB's website. "
