Factors influencing the working environment conditions in enterprises implementing Industry 4.0 technologies
dr inż. Zofia Pawłowska

Transformation to Industry 4.0, which is expected to result not only in an increase in productivity, but also in an improvement of the material and psychosocial work environment conditions, requires appropriate change management, which is related to the introduction of new technologies. Recognition of the factors influencing the conditions of the work environment during the transformation makes it possible to include in the change management process good practices aimed at strengthening the positive and limiting the negative impact of these factors. This article presents factors with potential impact on working environment conditions in companies implementing Industry 4.0 technologies and good practices that can be used in the change management process to achieve better working environment conditions.

Leadership as a basic process in a health and safety management system
dr Małgorzata Pęciłło

Attempts to both define leadership and to identify the characteristics and behaviours that characterise effective leaders have been made for many years and the discussion continues to this day. This paper presents, based on literature research, different approaches leadership and to assessing its effectiveness. However, there is no single effective OSH leadership style, nor a one-size-fits-all method for assessing the effectiveness of management commitment to OSH. Therefore, in H&S management, it is best to adhere to the principle of aurea mediocritas (happy medium), while leadership itself is best defined by actions and its effectiveness is assessed by analysing the objectives achieved or not.

New technologies and e-competencies in assessment of persons with visual impairment
mgr Karolina Pawłowska-Cyprysiak, dr Katarzyna Hildt-Ciupińska

Today, the use of new technologies is very wide. In the case of people with visual impairment they fulfill a very important function, their use gives a sense of independence, facilitates communication, work and study. In order to determine the use of new technologies and the self-assessment of digital competences among people with visual impairment direct interviews were conducted. These people indicate that digital competences in the modern world are extremely useful, they enable, above all, to lead an independent life. The results of interviews show a fairly high self-assessment of digital competences in this group, however, new technologies in everyday life are not used in all areas of life.
