Abstract

Use of artistic means to shape safety oriented attitudes in student and employee environments.

Project summary:

During the task 3rd edition of cyclic nationwide Safety Poster Competition was prepared: "Exploitation" (2011), "Active 50 +" (2012), "Stress of XXI Century" (2013). What is more six exhibitions were organized on work safety posters which disseminated the results of the contest: 3exhibitions at the CIOP-PIB; 3 exhibitions at the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery in Cracow. The project included also organization (or co-organization) of 10 local arts competitions for primary school students, devoted to issues of health and safety in order to develop safety oriented attitudes in the school environment. Twelve post-competition exhibitions presenting works of children were organized: 6 in Warsaw, 1 in Olsztyn, 1 in Gaszowice, 3 in Węglowice, 1 in Nowe Miasto Lubawskie. What is more, a questionnaire was developed for primary school students about the sense of security in school. Four hundred children took part in it.
