Abstract

Opportunities of using a smart piezoelectric material in the preparation of the adapter for the measurement of mechanical vibration parameters, taken into account factors relating to the work process.

Project manager: Piotr Kowalski Ph.D. (Eng.)

Project summary:

The main goal of the project was to study smart piezoelectric materials, their identification and setting of electrophysical parameters under conditions of mechanical vibration and other factors related to the work process. Within the project realization following things were done :
- Developed model of the adapter based on studies of smart materials using for measure the operating parameters of mechanical vibration on the human body by hands and arms,
- Developed a measurement methodology using the developed adapter model, in the form of the test procedure.
The result of the project is also a method for the measurement and evaluation of mechanical vibrations using an adapter developed with piezo film, which is based on the determination of the total dose of vibrations and calculate the rate of vibration running through the hands and arms.
