June - the Institute receives a grant for the project under Measure 2.1 Development of high research potential centres, Priority II of the Innovative Economy Operational Programme within the Priority Axis 2 - R&D infrastructure

July - a contract is concluded with the National Centre for Research and Development for the project
no. POIG.02.01.00-14-088/09 Centre for Research and Development on Work Processes and Safety Engineering (Tech-Safe-Bio)

September - the functional programme and design documentation are developed

June - by decision of the Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw the construction project is approved and a construction permit is granted

November - a contract with the general contractor for the execution of works is signed

2014

February - construction work starts

October - new laboratories officially open
November - the construction project is completed
