Human potential management is nowadays one of the most important areas of enterprise management, due to the decline in the importance of material resources for non-material resources (information, knowledge, intellectual capital). Human potential management is a very important factor influencing the competitiveness of the entire organization and its ability to implement the designated goals. The human potential of the enterprise is distinguished by the quantitative aspect (number of employees) and qualitative (competences: knowledge - general, professional, specialist; predispositions - intellectual, interpersonal, emotional, skills - including communication, cooperation, adaptation to changes; internal motivation: goals, values, attitudes, perseverance, assertiveness and physical dimension: health, age, gender, degree of disability). Professional work is an important element of human life, from the economic point of view, meeting needs, but also self-realization and building self-esteem. For people with disabilities, work may be an opportunity to compensate for the limitations resulting from their disability.

The article presents preliminary results of research conducted among 515 employed people with various disabilities. The method used was an electronic questionnaire. The obtained data indicate that disabled employees are aware of their potential and that it is not fully used by employers.

Air gaps under the clothing – measurement and impact on the thermal insulation of the clothing
dr inż. MAGDALENA MŁYNARCZYK , dr JOANNA ORYSIAK

Heat transfer in the clothing – heat source system depends largely on the thermal insulation of the clothing. This is the basic parameter describing the set of clothing used, which consists of the thermal resistance of the individual layers of clothing. It also takes into account the air gaps between the layers. The occurrence of the air gaps is related to the degree of fitting the garment to the user's body shape. The size of the air gaps formed can be analyzed using 3D scanning techniques. The article presents the problem of the occurrence of air gaps (and thus indirectly the degree of fitting the garment to the body shape) and their significance.
