Chosen approaches and models of the effectiveness of education evaluation

Effectiveness of education is an interdisciplinary and a multilayered problem. It consists of several approaches: pedagogical, social and economic. It takes into account social needs, individual progress of entities, it also refers to the effectiveness of the learning process. The need to research such effectiveness comes directly from the concept of education itself. As it is, that process requires a plan which means a conscious realization of selected goals of education along with the properly planned content, methods and means of teaching. The article presents chosen approaches and theoretical models used to evaluate educational processes. Such evaluation is a means to establishing the level of achieved goals , by which one should understand the measure of changes that happened in the scope of knowledge, skills and attitudes of persons undertaking the education. The results coming from the evaluation can be used to improve the educational processes.



Effective stress management – case studies

This article presents trainers' experience resulting from using the JobAssist program. JobAssist is an innovative tool for activating unemployed people. Its primary purpose is to increase their awareness of their own potential and their motivation to look for suitable work. The program consists of integrated training tools. The method that was used during training is a pilot tool developed as part of an international project entitled “Better Employment Competencies through Individualized  e- training – JobAssist”, co-financed by the EU (Leonardo da Vinci).



Rules on establishing the income of workers who use transport provided by their employers

This article discusses the legal conditions related to taxing the income of workers, who use means of transport provided by the employer to get to work.  This problem had resulted in several contradictory verdicts of administrative courts and has been resolved with a resolution of the Supreme Administrative Court (NSA) and the verdict of the Constitutional Tribunal (TK) of July 8, 2014.



Construction of personal protective equipment with the use of reverse engineering

This article presents the idea of using scanners in reverse engineering for constructing personal protective equipment that requires a precise fit to the person, in this case for shoes and masks and half-masks. It presents models of feet and faces, which have been used so far, and the methodology of designing with the use of scanners.
