Project summary:

The following works were performed as a part of the project -
- developed a method of identifying non-technological sources of ultrasonic noise in the work environment,
- Carried out identification of dozens of machines and other devices that are responsible for the emission of ultrasonic noise,
- Develop methods for measuring ultrasonic noise in the work environment of operators of non-technological sources of ultrasonic noise ,
- Validated method to identify ultrasound noise sources ,
- Carried out study of ultrasonic noise exposure in 76 selected workplaces of the operators of non-technological ultrasonic noise sources ,
- Develop a questionnaire and a survey on ultrasonic noise disturbance at workplaces,
- Conducted surveys on noise nuisance occurring at selected workplaces among 52 employees,
- Rated occupational risk of exposure to ultrasonic noise at surveyed workplaces,
- Develop a database containing the results of assessment of ultrasonic noise hazard emitted by non-technological ultrasonic noise sources ,
- Develop guidelines for technical and organizational prevention ,
- Develop training materials on noise pollution of non-technological sources.
