Abstract

A comprehensive assessment of safety and health risks in diagnostic imaging centers in for prevention needs.

Project summary:

The main objective of the project was to develop a comprehensive evaluation of safety and health risks among diagnostic imaging center workers, including surveys, laboratory and environmental on objective parameters characterizing the set of working environment factors, health hazards and subjective assessment of psychosocial terms of work.
Complementary studies of mentioned risks were performed, and a detailed, comprehensive assessment of various physical factors in working environment representing health and safety threats in diagnostic imaging centers. A draft project of training and information materials was also developed presenting safety and health hazards in RM diagnostic centers and the principles of prevention.
