Abstract

Modelling machinery and equipment from the perspective of minimalization of vibroacoustic activity

Project manager: Dariusz Pleban Ph.D. (Eng.)

Project summary:

This task consisted in: developing a method of acoustic modelling of machinery with the use of the inversion method, developing new indices of radiation and energy transmission and methods of determining them, developing a method of determining the energy balance that includes vibroacoustic phenomena taking place in machinery, conducting experimental tests of selected machinery within the scope of determining the energy balance, conducting experimental tests regarding determining acoustic models of selected machinery and determining -on the basis of those models' parameters - indices characterizing vibroacoustic processes, indices of an acoustic assessment of machines and parameters of the acoustic field in the vicinity of the machinery, conducting computer simulations of an acoustic model of a machine to determine the influence of the location of substitute sources on the levels of sound power and sound pressure, conducting verification tests of the determined acoustic models of selected machinery.
