Abstract

Elaboration of research methodology of the electrical equipment of machines due to requirements of the last EU Directives and connected standards to be used by machine`s producers and usersResearch procedures of the electrical equipment of machines

Project manager: Zygfryd Brański M.Sc. (Eng.)

Project summary:

Methodology of researches was developed and validated to be used for studies of electrical equipment of machines (WEM) and to estimate accordance with requirements of the Directive 2006/42/EC and to check if machines meet minimum requirements of the Directive 2006/104/EC.
Study procedures due to the Polish standard PN-EN 60204-1:2010 were checked basing on real machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, drill, cutter blade, injection machine and granules dryer. Study procedure included:
- examining of insulation resistance;
- measuring of electrical durability of insulation;
- examining of continuity of the protective connection;
- examining of residual voltage protection;
- examining of wiring and functionality;
- measuring procedure and checking of electrical parameters of machines in use.
