Noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors being subject to reducing noise levels (Directive 2000/14/EC)

 

Since 15 June 2004 CIOP-PIB has been the Notified Body no. 1437 in the scope of the conformity assessment procedure in accordance with the provisions of the 2000/14/EC directive concerning:

  • internal control of production with assessment of technical documentation and periodical checking - Annex VI
  • unit verification - Annex VII
  • full quality assurance - Annex VII

 

The scope of the products subject to the conformity assessment within the 2000/14/EC directive in CIOP-PIB:

  • equipment for use outdoors subject to reducing noise levels

As of May 1, 2004, the marketing of a product being subject to the CE marking, and not having such a labeling is prohibited, on pain of a penalty provided for in the Act of 30 August 2002 on conformity assessment system (Journal of Laws No. 166, item . 1360, as amended).
