Scope of activities of the Laboratory:


  • Establishment of scientific bases for optimising lighting conditions at workstations,
  • Determination of the requirements and criteria assessing the influence of optical radiation on human health,
  • Development of methods of measuring parameters of optical radiation,
  • Measurement of lighting and optical radiation at workstation,
  • Development of methods of eliminating or reducing hazards related to excessive optical radiation at workstations,
  • Co-operation in establishing standards in optical radiation,
  • Identification, measurement and assessment of hazards non-laser optical sources at workstations,
  • Training courses for specialists and lectures at postgraduate studies.
